How can I check if a YouTube channel is monetized?+
There's no public monetization badge YouTube shows to viewers, so the most reliable way to check is to look at the channel itself: go to the channel's "About" page or watch a few of its videos. If ads play before, during, or after the video, the channel is very likely enrolled in the YouTube Partner Program. Third-party "monetization checker" tools exist too, but they estimate status based on public signals rather than pulling data directly from YouTube, so results aren't always 100% accurate. What are YouTube's monetization requirements?+
To join the YouTube Partner Program, a channel generally needs 1,000+ subscribers plus either 4,000 valid public watch hours in the past 12 months or 10 million Shorts views in the past 90 days, along with a linked AdSense account and compliance with YouTube's monetization policies. How do I know if a TikTok account is monetized?+
TikTok doesn't display monetization status publicly on a profile. The clearest way to check your own account is inside the TikTok app under Settings → Creator Tools → Creator Rewards Program (or TikTok Shop/LIVE Gifts, depending on the monetization type), where your eligibility and earnings status are shown directly.
